Anna Coroneo

Anna Coroneo was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, where she spent countless sunny, mindless, exquisite hours on the beautiful beaches in and around her hometown. Her vibrant artwork and textile designs deliciously capture a sense memory of “endless summer” and simply radiate the effortless bohemian chic beach culture of Sydney. Bright, bold, veritably sunshine-y patterns swish on easy and elegant flowing silk dresses, emanating resplendent delicacy and understated luxury. Soon her designs were snapped up by buyers and sold in boutiques throughout Australia. Jealous yet? Well here comes the next glamorous, envy-inducing bit.

As we know, Australians love to sally forth, so charming all of Australia just wasn’t quite enough for Anna. Her adventuresome spirit and creative flair led her to London and the prestigious St. Martin’s School where she aced any and all, and later to New York City and Parsons. In Manhattan, Anna worked with legendary names in fashion, such as Glenda Bailey (Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar) and Ann Watson (Fashion Director of Henri Bendel) kind, uber-chic ladies who loved Anna’s gorgeous dresses and art and quietly yet resolutely encouraged her to make her way in the world of design.

2001 saw the official founding of Anna Coroneo’s design label. Today Anna’s inimitable, irresistible designs marry relaxed Sydney beach-chic with the rapid-fire, flirtatious energy and edge of her current home base of New York City.  www.annacoroneo.com
