When Joshua Karl and Erin Kaleel were wee babes, their preschool teachers probably had to drag them away from the touch and feel sand table-- these two have a deep instinct for hands-on experience that fuels their work. When this design duo tied the knot, they didn't just marry each other-- they also united their talents and experiences in everlasting matrimony, and oh what a marriage they made! Merging their far-ranging backgrounds, from fashion and product design to interior and furniture design, Joshua and Erin combined their individual creative ingredients and came up with a magically delicious recipe for their line of luxury handbags and small leather goods. A heap of handcrafted construction, a pinch of earthly elegance, a dash of elemental themes, and lo and behold, Feel Handmade was born!

Joshua and Erin build each Feel Handmade bag by hand, infusing their work with details that radiate their deep appreciation for architecture and hands-on construction. Their "feel handmade" process is labor intensive and inspired by their keen penchant for the sense of touch.
